I have not heard of any discussion , accept around the lunch table, to implant a DAF device . There is much more to stuttering management than simply reducing the frequency of syllables stuttered. I have several individuals who are wearing the SE device because it gives them confidence to stutter openly and easily. I believe we need to learn a lot more about the long term effects of DAF .
