Vanna, The universiality of family situation with "not taking about" your stuttering is fascinating. For you, your role as a female child in an Asian family kept your silent. For me as a male child (even with a father who had stuttered) a similar cultural expectation of "boys deal with there problems by themselves" and "brothers don't talk about weakness", kept me silent. I'm sure many many PWS have ethnic, family, or gender cultural issues that we focus on to remain silent.
