I'm happy to announce that Vanna Nicks had a healthy baby girl yesteday, October 21st!
Vanna's paper brought up a lot of excellent issues to discuss about culture. I'm sorry that there could not have been more of a dialogue about culture and environment relating to stuttering during this ISAD conference. I hope that graduate students and SLPs continue to learn more how culture and environment plays a major part in treating people who stutter and understanding the stutterer.
